A chi regala un libro di scienze a una bambina, un caffè pagato.
È anche così che alla libreria Controvento (http://www.libreriacontrovento.it/) di Telese Terme in provincia di Benevento, si vuole limitare il pregiudizio maschi femmine pure nel dono di un libro.
Se Filomena Grimaldi, la ‘gestora’ della libreria, già di per sé un piccolo grande miracolo perché funziona (tra l’altro ha vinto nel 2016 il Premio Andersen, intitolato a Gianna e Roberto Denti, come libreria per ragazzi dell’anno), suggerisce di comprare una pubblicazione scientifica, quasi sempre il cliente fa notare che se si tratta di una ‘femminuccia’ proprio non è il caso.
Allora qui in questo luogo profumato di carta, fantasia e creatività, si è fatta strada questa idea: il libro ‘sospeso’, cioè un libro che chiunque può comprare e lasciare in libreria, pronto per essere donato a una bimba. Proprio come si fa con il caffè sospeso. Un’iniziativa che ha dato i suoi frutti, visto che la pila di libri che parlano di scienze si sta via via ‘rafforzando’.
E già la libraia sta pensando ad altre iniziative a livello nazionale, assieme agli altri colleghi sparsi in tutta Italia. Perché la discriminazione serpeggia ovunque e sono proprio gli adulti a portarla avanti: i quali non solo sono restii a regalare libri i scienze alla femmine ma pure quando si fanno fare il pacchetto regalo, spesso scelgono il nastro azzurro per lui, quello rosa (sigh!) per lei. Dunque… W il libro sospeso per le bambine!
